Offcuts & End of Rolls FAQs
- What is a carpet offcut?
-
A carpet offcut is a smaller section of carpet that has been cut from a larger roll. These pieces are often left over from previous installations or are too small to be sold as a full roll, which means they are usually available at a reduced price.
- What Is an End-of-Roll Carpet?
-
An end-of-roll carpet is the remaining section at the end of a full carpet roll.
These pieces are often large enough for a full room and are available at significantly lower prices than ordering a new carpet roll. At our warehouse, roll ends typically range from 3m to 9m in length, depending on the original roll size.
- Are carpet offcuts cheaper than normal carpet?
-
Yes. Because offcuts are leftover pieces from larger rolls, they are usually sold at significantly reduced prices compared with ordering a full carpet roll
- What size are carpet roll ends?
-
Roll ends typically range from 3m to 9m in length, depending on how much remains from the original carpet roll.
- Are carpet offcuts good quality?
-
Yes. Offcuts are usually made from the same carpets used in full installations, often from well‑known brands.
- Can carpet offcuts be professionally fitted?
-
Yes. Offcuts and roll ends can be fitted just like standard carpets by professional flooring installers.
